There are so many things that happen when you become a homeowners and you slowly realize those new responsibilities.  I have always had renters insurance, but now I have to have homeowners insurance to cover my home.  I am having to get a security system installed in my new place in order to cut down on the home insurance costs - okay I am not having to do this, but I am opting to do this as it will save me money in the long run and I will feel safer. :)  Because I have been moving around so much in the last year I haven't really kept up with changing my address from one place to the next.  I have slowly been updating all of my information to be the same address - next stop - new drivers license!  Hoping to be able to go Friday morning to get it, however I really wish that they were the old licenses.  In Georgia they have updated our cards and to be honest they look so fake to me.  The have 3 copies of the same head-shot on the card.  Our signatures are raised, and they are extremely thin, it feels more like an insurance card then a drivers license.

Anyways - I am slowly starting to feel more and more like an adult at the age of 25! ha-ha.  I officially became a notary public at work last week and I got my notary stamp today.  I didn't realize how many things in the business world need to be notarized, so hopefully now I can save myself some time by notarizing work documents myself instead of having to drive to the bank to get that done.

Life is slowly moving forward and I am getting settled in my new place.  Work is getting busier which is always a good thing.  Volleyball has been going great this season - my middle school team is undefeated and the JV team is busting their butts, but unfortunately losing to some really talented teams.  All in all, life is pretty good right now! :)

About this blog

Like any girl in her 20's it can be a very challenging time...there are many things that come up in your 20's that you have no control over and at times it is extremely difficult to stay positive. For myself, I have graduated from college, started a job, been laid off from a job, been unemployed for 6+ months, started a new job, had a couple relationships, and let friendships fizzle away as well as have new ones blossom. Throughout all of this my main focus has been to try and stay positive that what happens in my life happens for a reason. I am slowly learning to take the bad with the good and the good with the bad.
